Coastal Explorer tours are available to book for private charters year round. This is a great trip for families with small children and budding oceanographers that would like to experience the marine environment first hand. Our bay has an abundance of wildlife to see and learn about. On every tour we will stop and observe the California Sea Otter, California Sea Lions, Harbor Seals, Pelicans, Cormorants and of course the ever present Western Gull. On occasion we also see Dolphins and a number of other migratory birds depending on the season. As we adventure about the bay we will stop to share some fascinating tidbits about these animals lives and a few stories about the local history of this famous port that was a major trade center in the mid 1800's. When weather permits we will go out of the bay to enjoy a good view from the sea of the famous Port San Luis Lighthouse. All ages are welcome.
